I don't want to read more into this than need be (...), but a friend pointed out a truly extraordinary coincidence to me:

The earthquake that caused the devastating tsunami occurred on December 26th.  The second earthquake in the same region (the one that occurred Monday) occurred on March 28th.

Thus, the two most recent major earthquakes occurred exactly one day after the two holiest holidays of the Christian calendar: Christmas and Easter.

Like I said, a strange coincidence...
