Hi Amy,

I designed my entire wedding myself. I chose a licensed minister who was a
Native American woman, and then I had a Native American yuwipi do a
blessing. My marriage was outdoors, I cut the wood and gatherred the sage
that my arbor and altar would be made from. I tied over 1000 prayer ties.
The ceremony was very spiritual without being religious. You can ask a
judge to perform the ceremony or a justice of the peace, and design your own
vows using any poems or exerpts from the bible if you choose. Don't feel
you have to do anything that doesn't feel right to both of you.
