Thanks to all for your kind comments. A show would just be a bunch of jerks running around on a stage if not for an audience. You make the experience a pleasure for us.

The author and I were preparing to leave the house prior to the opening night performance, when it was suddenly discovered -- by some arcane distinction -- that his attire was inadequate for the evening's event. We left the house in a sullen funk. Not a propitious start to the most important evening of his life to date.

As we strode to Clark street -- in our best suits and overcoats -- speaking not at all, we both noticed a rather innebriated figure approaching us. Dressed in rather distressed looking denim and wearing long, blond hair that seemed not to have seen the inside of a shower for quite some time, he presented a visage which neither Christopher nor I particularly cared to acknowledge.

Nevertheless, as such things always play themselves out in a city, this person approached us both and, observing our strained demeanor, hailed us, saying, "Hey, guys! Smile! It's going to be a great day!" I muttered something and we continued walking a step or two. We then both realized what we had experienced. We began to laugh. Christopher turned around to track our interlocuter's progress. He was gone.

Angels are so weird.

How wonderful it was to have two special evenings with all of you.

The Friends of Conservation preview on Saturday was a tremendous success, and thank you for that. The opening on Sunday was over the top!

What else can I say but "Keep It Up!"
