LONDON NOTES
Rolling Stone Magazine – December 24, 1970

Polydor Records presented the London cast of “HAIR” with a silver platter marking album sales of more than 250,000 – phenomenal for England. The presentation was made at the Shaftesbury Theatre by folk singer Julie Felix.  However, shortly after the ceremony, the award mysteriously vanished.  It is believed to be in the hands of International Times, a London underground paper, which is sharing the trophy with the English White Panther Party.  Polydor has since ordered a replacement at a cost of about $20.
